Meet Our Members
President: Amy Masem
Amy is studying to be a mechanical engineering with a focus in robotics. Her plan is to transfer to San Jose State University. She is in her second year at Laney.
President: Michael Ingerman
Michael is currently studying chemical engineering with a concentration in biotech. Unsure whether to pursue a medical or masters degree, Michael is currently enjoying his involvement in
a large array of projects.
Vice President: Anthony Gamarra
As a father and bartender this handsome man is pursuing a degree in Nuclear Engineering. While enjoying long night on his Playstation, he also enjoys attending StartUp Weekend events to collaborate and network with others who have like minded ambitions. During his time as VP, the club was granted a $10,000 budget for the "Mission to Mars" project written and proposed by Kimberly Gonzalez-Campos and himself.

Prof. Matthew Stavis is one of the PEMS Advisors and co-founder. Matt teaches in the Chemistry Department at Laney College, runs an art studio, Ivy Hill Art Lab, and is the director of the Leona Heights Park Project.
